Inauguration of President Obama

I was in Kenya on January 20th, the day president Obama was sworn into Office. Just like millions of people around the world the group of authors and teachers watched history in the making. Being in Kenya, the land of our new president's ancestors brought even more significance to this day.

The playing of the National Anthem brought everyone to their feet. Left to right: Kay, Leslie, Ashley, Suzanne, Kemie.

It was an inauguration party none will forget.

BBC/CNN brought it all to Kenya and the world.
